About the Job:

The Assistant Marketing Manager Rooms and Spa will be accountable for managing and implementing rooms and spa marketing campaigns and projects both online and offline at and hotel level. He will provide support to the Marketing Manager on the day-to-day operations and in driving different marketing activities to maximize stakeholders’ satisfaction and maximizing ROI. Assistant Manager will actively monitor, guide and implement Jumeirah’s brand standards ensuring full compliance with the Jumeirah brand VSG, LSG and PSG and coach and develop Marketing Executive to deliver projects on time and adhering to Jumeirah’s guidelines. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide full support to the Marketing Manager to deliver all rooms and spa campaigns and projects for Madinat Jumeirah. 
  • With support of managers, develop and implement the marketing plans.
  • Plan and launch advertising campaigns for local and international markets.
  • Develop strong marketing briefs for creative team, advertising agencies and partners.
  • Ensure campaign and project budgets are within agreed limits.
  • Monitor campaign performance with agencies and proactively suggest ways to optimize.
  • Track and report campaign and offer performance.   
  • Review and proof marketing content and production samples. 
  • Manage CMS, ensuring content is accurate and on brand. 
  • Train Marketing Executive on how to use CMS & CRM systems. 
  • Ensure the website content for the hotel is fully updated, in line with the standards established for website content.
  • Manage relationships with different types of agencies and suppliers making sure those partners fully understand and maximize the value of the Jumeirah hotels.
  • Work closely with Revenue to ensure all offers are accurately communicated. 
  • Ensure that Public Relations and Communications teams are involved in marketing campaigns, where applicable, to maximize audience and reach.
  • Development of operational marketing collaterals for Madinat Jumeirah.
  • Implement online and offline marketing initiatives in line with objectives of key stakeholders, aiming to increase revenue, loyalty and NPS.
  • Improve ROI for all Rooms Marketing activities and establish campaigns KPIs for success.
  • Track productivity of each marketing activity planned and executed by the individual using the CRM system.
  • Ensure that all collaterals and marketing materials adhere to the Jumeirah brand standards.
  • Analysis with JBI 
  • Provide the required marketing support to the different departments within the Dubai team including Corporate, GCC, Leisure and Groups Sales.
  • Execute projects related to photography and arrange photo shoots in adherence to brand Photography Style Guidelines.
  • Maintain an artwork archive within the designated location predefined by the department.
  • Coordinate and drive proactive social media updates and channel them through the Digital Marketing team for execution.
  • Ensure brand promise is conveyed in all marketing projects and campaigns planned and executed by the Rooms Marketing department.
  • Ongoing competitor reviews and checks to identify special offers and activities done by the hotels in the competitive set.
  • Work closely with the Digital team to ensure that all marketing activity is supported with the measurement of results.
  • Adhere to the procurement process in the standard set out by the department and manage marketing investment based on budget and forecasts and with help and support from the Marketing Manager.

Conditions of work:

  • Normal administrative hours with normal office working conditions, subject to the terms of individual employment contracts and to the relevant labor law.
  • Travel mobility not applicable to this role.


  • Internal: All marketing colleagues, Group Digital and Brand Marketing Colleagues, Regional Sales and Marketing Colleagues, Corporate Sales Team, Group IT Team, SBU Sales and Marketing Directors, Legal Team, Hotel Operations, Supply & Chain Logistics Department.
  • External: Brand and Advertising Agencies, Creative Agencies, Online Publishers, Analytics Companies, Consultants, Translation Agencies, any of Jumeirah’s Business Partners, print and production suppliers.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Marketing / Advertising / Media or equivalent is essential.
  • Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification is desirable.
  • Any second language will be an advantage.
  • Min 2 – 4 years marketing experience with luxury or hospitality brands
  • Understanding loyalty and customer relationship management.
  • Strong communication skills across a variety of platforms and on all levels. 
  • Market research capabilities for competitor reviews. 
  • Outstanding English skills – written and verbal. 
  • Dynamic and confident individual. 
  • Good time management and prioritizing capabilities. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Team player with positive attitude. 
  • Strong attention to detail and the production of high-quality work. 
  • Should display personal drive to succeed and achieve. 
  • Project management skills. 
  • Highly enthusiastic
