About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Coordinator to join the team of Jumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Provide consistently friendly, courteous, and professional service while maintaining a high standard of personal grooming.
  • Proactively ensure adherence to high standards in housekeeping processes and procedures in line with Jumeirah standards.
  • Coordinate room status updates efficiently and handle VIP, makeup, and rush rooms.
  • To keep a track of critical situations, coordinate with relevant Team Leaders and Guest services personnel. 
  • Liaise with Front Office, Guest Relations, and Team Leaders for VIP arrivals and special guest requests.
  • Manage guest service requests promptly and accurately, ensuring swift delivery to guest rooms.
  • Maintain accurate records of room colleague movements and room statuses throughout the day.
  • Manage key issuance, mobile phone tracking, and maintain the housekeeping storeroom.
  • Handle administrative tasks, register lost and found items, and report emergencies or irregular incidents.
  • Maintain filing systems accurately, coordinate maintenance with Engineering Team Leaders, and handle supply issuance.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Proficient in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar capacity in a five-star hospitality brand.
  • Proficiency and working knowledge of Opera Property Management Systems and Microsoft software.
