Job Description


  • Implement all Department policies, processes, systems, standards, cost control procedures and internal
  • controls, so that the Department objectives are accomplished safely, reliably and cost effectively.
  • Lead all cost analysis and controls activity associated with the project. Prepare and report upon cost
  • functions within the Contract in accordance with project/company procedures. Provide comprehensive cost
  • control, change control, analysis, and reporting.

  • In coordination with Project Team, preparation of project budgets based on as awarded budget by Client.
  • Coordination with Project Manager, and liaison with company departments (Accounts, procurement,
  • Engineering, Personnel & Administration, and Project Teams) to ensure the steady and accurate flow of
  • project cost information.
  • Preparation and collation of monthly cost control reports for presentation to Senior Management.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all involved departments supply the appropriate information in a uniform
  • manner and timely fashion.
  • Highlighting cost overruns, purchases out with budgets and other similar concerns to the relevant
  • management.
  • Review and monitoring of Project Budget and accounts cost code allocations.
  • Work out ‘Estimate to Complete’ (ETC) cost for the remaining works. Also, co-ordinate with different
  • disciplines to get ETC cost.
  • Assist and advise Project Managers on budgetary matters, as and when required.
  • Preparation of manpower cost histograms and Project cash out flow, as and when required.
  • Ensuring implementation and adherence to Quality System procedures.
  • Provide estimate and cost input at Tender/Proposal stage, if required.
  • Carry out other related duties as advised by the supervisor.


  •  Engineering Degree with minimum of 18 years working experience out of which minimum five years in the
  • Cost Control function of EPC projects.
