UX/UI Roadmap

  • Create & develop the UI/UI roadmap for GMG sports division online ecommerce platforms
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather customer feedback to inform design decisions and enhance the overall user experience
  • Develop user personas, customer journey maps, and other design artifacts to guide the team in creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences

Creative Direction:

  • Oversee the full P&L of the ecommerce brands, monitor financial performance, and take proactive measures to achieve revenue and profitability targets. 
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify areas for growth and profitability improvement. 
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses accurately. 

Team Leadership and Management: 

  • Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing UX/UI team, providing clear direction and setting performance expectations. 
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging professional development and growth opportunities for team members. 
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance the team’s skills and expertise. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate closely with the product team to develop effective User experiences that drives conversion 
  • Work closely with technology and IT teams to optimize the ecommerce platforms, enhance user experience, and ensure seamless integration with other system Data 

Analysis and Reporting: 

  • Utilize analytics tools and platforms to gather insights, measure performance, and track key metrics, such as conversion rates, average order value, customer lifetime value, and customer acquisition cost. 
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into ecommerce performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Person Specific Requirements:

Base Requirement: 5+ years in a similar UX/UI role

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or a related field.

· 5+ years of experience in designing user interfaces and interactions, preferably in consumer-focused tech or product


· Strong background in utilizing research and analytics to inform design decisions.

· Strong presentational skills (Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.).

Job-Specific Skills:

· Demonstrated experience in creating flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and visual communication to effectively

convey design concepts.

· The ability to comprehend complex business problems and establish a design vision for the product in the short,

medium, and long term.

· Proficiency in applying best practices for mobile and web design, as well as a solid understanding of usability principles

and techniques.

· Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams, including Product, Engineering, and Commercial departments.

· A proven ability to drive the design review cycle and independently fulfill design requirements.

· Relevant work experience in web and mobile architecture, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of design

considerations in these domains.

· A portfolio of work showcasing user-centered design solutions and demonstrating depth of experience.

· Experience conducting user interviews for research and testing purposes, with a strong grasp of user research


· Software knowledge: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision Studio, Axure, XD, etc.

· Strong technical knowledge (SFCC, Magento, React, and Native mobile OS
