About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Door Attendant in Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Supervises the driveway/ellipse and ensures traffic is always flowing. 
  • Manages the driveway/ellipse and Valet Parking process. 
  • Ensures that all guests are greeted and made feel welcome.
  • Ensures that Buggy service and taxis are ready and available.
  • Ensures that all guests are attended to on time and avoids potential complaints by acting pro-active and demonstrating a caring demeanour. 
  • Ensures that the main driveway always looks immaculately clean. 
  • Ensures to alert management in case of unusually high business volume and/or guest complaints.
  • Adhere to all LQA standards for welcome and farewell procedures.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience as Doorman/Bell Attendant.
  • Experience in handling guest complaints at the highest service levels.
  • Experience in handling and dealing with high-profile guests.
  • Proficient in English and a second language (preferably Russian) would be an added advantage.
