Job Purpose

Educating and training client’s drivers on various aspects related to vehicle operations and safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Educates Customer drivers on the specific features and operations of the vehicles sold. This includes familiarizing them with the controls, safety features, and any advanced technologies integrated into the vehicles.
• Ensure that drivers are well-versed in all safety regulations and protocols. This includes teaching them about traffic laws, driving best practices, and any specific safety guidelines set by the dealership or the local transportation authority.
• Accompany potential buyers or clients on test drives to provide them with information about the vehicle’s features and answer any questions they may have.
• Educate drivers on basic vehicle maintenance, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and other routine checks. This can help drivers understand the importance of regular maintenance for optimal vehicle performance and longevity.
• Ensure that drivers are well-versed in all documentation requirements, such as maintaining accurate records of mileage, maintenance, and any incidents that occur during the use of the vehicles.
• Educate problem-solving skills and preparedness for emergencies, such as breakdowns or accidents. This includes providing guidance on how to handle unforeseen situations effectively and responsibly.
• Updated on the latest trends, technologies, and safety features to the drivers to ensure they are well-informed and capable of handling the latest vehicle models.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma preferably mechanical or Automobile engineering.

Experience

• Min of 5 Years of training drivers or similar role in the dealership.

Knowledge & Skills

Technical knowledge  — Deep knowledge of Commercial Vehicles technical specifications
