We have several opportunities in various Managerial level roles that has become available in our Sales team to be based in Dubai!

In this role, you will define the overall commercial approach and growth plans for the assigned territory, optimise the sales strategy and lead our sales team to ensure sales targets & all commercial KPIs are met in the most efficient and effective manner to ensure the overall Etihad objectives are reached and exceeded.

Accountabilities (non-exhaustive):

  • Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies that ensure key revenue, cost and profitability targets are met, with a level playing field for selling partners.
  • Ensure sales and marketing resources, call patterns and areas of focus are those with the highest incremental revenue and profit utilising the guidance of the regional business development unit to convert these opportunities.
  • Whilst being primarily responsible for the in-direct channel, ensure all sales distribution channels are fully exploited to Etihad’s benefit.
  • Working effectively with global sales engagement develop and maintain effective B2B brand positioning and brand equity, in line with Etihad’s aim to be a high quality and unique airline.
  • Collect, collate and share feedback and market intelligence and work effectively with HDQ stakeholders to effectively deliver appropriate actions.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the travel trade, corporate, guests, governments, ministries, etc. Be seen as Etihad’s chief ambassador in your area of responsibility – acting as a thought leader in external events.
  • Act as chief territory liaison with Sales Strategy & Planning to effectively steer and optimise business activities.
  • Act as chief coach for your team, work with global sales enablement to ensure you have a data led, insight driven and innovative sales team who have the knowledge and capability to act as ‘trusted advisors’ to our customers. Motivate, inspire and lead the commercial team with effective communication to exceed targets.
  • Advocate and ensure compliance with all Etihad processes, policies and tools and any relevant local legislation
  • Where applicable, this role may hold the EY Power of Attorney and be classified as an ‘executive position’ for the relevant purposes.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business or relevant Commercial & analytical work experience.
  • 8-10 years airline experience, including 5 years at management level in Sales in the Aviation industry.
  • Role to be based physically in Dubai.
