About the job

The Government Relations Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining positive
relationships with government officials, agencies, and representatives at the local, state, and federal
levels. The Government Relations Coordinator will work closely with the Administration and Facilities
teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and advocate for the organization’s interests in
government affairs.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and government agencies.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local, state, and federal government officials and
representatives.
• Stay informed about relevant legislation, policies, and regulations that may impact the organization’s
operations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and government requirements.
• Work closely with the Facilities team to address and resolve any compliance issues.
• Collaborate with the Facilities team to ensure that government regulations related to facilities
management are adhered to.
• Provide support in obtaining necessary permits and approvals for facility-related projects.
• Provide general clerical and administrative support to assist the efficient and effective running of the
department.
• Assist with tasks related to support services like record keeping, filing, dealing with correspondence,
processing, etc as required.
•Assist with administrative support for projects as delegated
• Filing and organizing records, invoices and other important documentation
• Adhere to the University’s information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and
report breaches or other security risks accordingly.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as
and when needed
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Desired Skills and Experience

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Required Experience:
Expats: A minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
UAE Nationals: (0) Experience requirement with good potential to
perform assigned duties.
