About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Attendant to join the team of Jumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Maintain a consistently high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, reporting promptly in the correct uniform, and providing courteous service to meet Jumeirah Standards for both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in rooms consistently, ensuring the organization and orderliness of pantry areas.
  • Continuously monitor room status in assigned blocks and public areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety while promptly reporting defects to maintain orderliness in corridors, back-of-house areas, stairways, and service pantries.
  • Keep all equipment on assigned blocks in good working order and cleanliness to maximize the lifespan of housekeeping machines.
  • Adhere strictly to fire, hygiene, health, and safety policies, understanding emergency procedures and safely handling housekeeping chemicals and equipment.
  • Engage in stocking and organizing supplies daily to ensure a consistent provision of adequate resources for hotel guests.
  • Refresh towels, linen, toilet amenities, and room essentials to maintain a comfortable environment for resort guests.
  • Perform any other duties reasonably required by management.
  • Efficiently managing equipment, appropriately using housekeeping chemicals, and effectively overseeing room amenities, such as linen and operational equipment.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Proficient in English and any international language would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience as a housekeeping attendant in a four or five-star hotel is required.
