Department Definition

The Real Estate Developments department is responsible for the development and delivery of operational for the real estate projects at Expo City Dubai. The team is responsible for implementing the development strategy for Expo City Dubai and works with variety of stakeholders from the master planning phase, through design and construction, to ensure the delivery of large-scale construction projects.

Opportunity Responsibilities

The Head – Broker relations is mandated with spearheading, redefining and overseeing the structure and process of the agency department to increase market share of Expo City Dubai within the channel partner network. This position will have a strong strategic focus, ensuring high efficiency and smooth workflows.

The main responsibilities for this role include:  

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Take  decisions based on the actionable insights received from the team to ensure that risks and issues are mitigated ahead of time
  • Development and implementation  of annual budgeting to ensure that appropriate resources are budgeted for and within budget requirements
  • Development and leadership of functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and create budgets/policies/ procedures to support the functional infrastructure
  • Build, cultivate, and maintain a comprehensive network of real estate brokers, agents, and agencies to expand reach and ensure a consistent pipeline of potential buyers.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and alliances with key brokers to secure exclusive representation and maximize our exposure in key markets.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Research client business issues and objectives to offer appropriate solutions
  • Negotiate prices, terms of sales and service agreements for maximized revenue
  • Responsible for the creation of new business opportunities through identifying new channel partners and establishing relationships which increase market share of ECD
  • Redefine the broker management process of Dubai Asset Management to ensure broker activation and registration is within 24 hours
  • Responsible for increasing the revenue generation of existing channel partners
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with brokers, acting as the primary point of contact and maintaining regular communication to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Develop and create high impact engagement with channel partners through continuous trainings and workshops
  • Monitor and analyze broker performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance their sales effectiveness
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on broker engagement, performance metrics, and market feedback, contributing to informed decision-making
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop broker-specific marketing materials, ensuring brokers have the resources they need to effectively showcase our properties
  • Assist brokers in negotiations, ensuring that transactions progress smoothly and efficiently, while upholding our company’s interests
  • Organize training sessions and workshops for brokers to equip them with in-depth knowledge about our projects, enabling them to effectively represent and promote our properties

People Responsibilities

  • Lead the Broker Relations team responsibly and proficiently, providing effective line management to direct reports
  • Set objectives and evaluate performance of individual direct reports and actively manage key personnel issues
  • Ensure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate learning and development programs
  • Embed culture and vision Expo City Dubai by role-modelling organizational behaviors through performance management, feedback and coaching

Skills

12+ years of professional experience in Brokers relations or a similar role within the real estate industry as well as:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • CRM System: use all the Post Sales transactions on the system to create and close all the assigned activities
  • Processes & workflow: Follow and adhere to all the approved processes
  • Maintain the quality of service: Ensure delivering high quality of service specially in terms of the of the time frame agreed
  • Punctuality/attitude
  • Extensive network of contacts within the real estate brokerage community
  • Adherence to the company internal policy & procedures
  • Product Knowledge: Having all the needed knowledge related to the project and handover details
