About the Team:
The team is responsible for leading a world-class team and setting the TikTok strategy for the MENA Region, evolving the value proposition for the TikTok ecosystem, and building rich partnerships with other regional teams to effectively deliver this strategy. Main partners will include regional leaders for sales, product, comms, marketing, business development and policy.

Job Description:
– Responsible for building a world-class team and executing TikTok strategy for the MENA region, with a primary focus on growing the user base and content ecosystem in the region.
– Lead regional content strategies to grow priority content formats and creator/communities, set strategic content partnerships with creators and publishers, and drive diversified and safe high-quality content on the platform to attract and retain users.
– Drive regional and local content strategies aligned to product priorities to drive product adoption. Working closely with Product and Ops colleagues, identifying key platform goals for creators and publishers across regions.
– Set market OKRs, metrics success measures, and strategies to deliver upon those goals. Rollout programs and content strategies that will help mobilize at-scale creators and publishers, consistent with our overall platform objectives.
– Lead and grow teams to manage the overall content communities, creators, content partnerships, and in-app content initiatives at the regional level.
– Serve as a spokesperson as necessary for TikTok with partners, press, policymakers, and other stakeholders, to present TikTok’s narrative clearly and with local resonance.
– Partner closely with the GBS, product, user growth, T&S, legal, comms, and policy teams in order to support, innovate, and effectively grow our user base at the regional level, as well as to support revenue efforts.
– Work on strategic cross-functional workstreams and forums to drive best-in-class operation of the business in the region, in partnership with other regional leaders.
– Identify content opportunities and business challenges for the platform in the region, including monitoring competitors and industry/market trends.


Minimum Qualification:
– Relevant industry experience in a major media or tech business, ideally with a focus on content operations or development, marketing, content partnerships, and/or multi-channel content platforms.
– Understanding of the content, social media, and media business landscape; familiarity with both traditional and advanced digital marketing channels; strong insight into digital content strategies and product operations.
– Experience working with online communities, policymakers and media outlets.
– Experience building, managing, leading, and inspiring creative, collaborative, and high performing teams and proven performance indirectly leveraging cross-functional teams to drive strategic growth initiatives

Preferred Qualification:
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, startup environment. Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities.
– Fluent in English as English is the working language of the company. Proficient in speaking and writing in languages other than English, particularly those relevant to the MENA would be advantageous.
