ROLE SUMMARY
The role of the Head of Real Estate is to ensure development opportunities, negotiations, acquisitions, and management agreements are valid and meet the long-term companywide agreements and are pursued accurately across Entertainment territories. This role will support the team on development requirements and efficiencies and build the capabilities on an individual level and as part of the development team.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Develop and execute a real estate strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate real estate opportunities, including land acquisitions, leases, and development agreements.
  • Oversee the development of new properties and the renovation of existing properties
  • Ensures that departments impacted by real estate projects have enough notice to provide support and deliver requirements within deadlines.
  • Instructs, organizes, and coordinates all development objectives, liaising with various functions to deliver completed projects in accordance with the objectives established in the approved business cases.
  • Highlights the risks associated with all necessary legal documentation relevant to the development process, including contracts, appointments, sales agreements, leases, warranties, management association documentation, and any other corresponding and/or
  • Conducts regional mapping, identification, sourcing, and securing of new development opportunities, strategically identifying new development opportunities.

  • Ensures the accuracy of all contracts, legal agreements, and the proper execution of all relevant municipality and government requirements


REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • 10-12 years’ experience of development management experience on major real estate development projects, primarily master planned retail, hotels and/or leisure businesses
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities with strong organizational skills and capacity to work under pressure.
  • People management experience, including managing a culturally diverse workforce.
  • Proven expertise in real estate development management, program management, financial analysis, property appraisals, business analysis, financial modeling & real estate market dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of the real estate development process, from project initiation, acquisition, to project structuring, design, construction, commission, and operation.
