Job Description


  • Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and instruments for experiments and tests.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to perform experiments and tests accurately and safely.
  • Conduct chemical, biological, or physical experiments and tests according to established methodologies and procedures.
  • Collect and analyze samples, data, and results using laboratory equipment and software.
  • Record observations, data, and results in laboratory notebooks or electronic databases.
  • Assist in maintaining laboratory cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Prepare reagents, solutions, and media for experiments and tests.
  • Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory of laboratory supplies and materials.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff, researchers, and scientists to support research projects and initiatives.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a lab technician or in a laboratory setting.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instruments, such as microscopes, spectrophotometers, and centrifuges.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in conducting experiments and recording data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and laboratory software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
