We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager – Fitout Operations for our trusted client to be based out of their office in Dubai.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fit-Out Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of commercial fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing end-to-end fit-out projects, from planning and coordination to execution and handover.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for fit-out projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Site Management and Supervision:

  • Oversee on-site fit-out activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status and address any issues or concerns.
  • Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

Client Management and Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed about project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
  • Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and resolving conflicts or issues promptly.
  • Conduct client walkthroughs and handovers, ensuring client satisfaction with the completed fit-out.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
  • Prepare and present project reports, highlighting progress, risks, and issues to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Preferred background in Banking industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing commercial fit-out projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering fit-out projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
