Job Summary: As a Project Sales engineer for Ironmongery, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing relationships with clients in the construction and building industry. Your primary focus will be on selling ironmongery products and solutions to architects, contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders involved in construction projects. You will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction and building industry.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and promotional activities.
  • Create customized sales presentations and proposals to showcase ironmongery products and solutions to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and other key decision-makers.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide expert advice and support to help them select the right ironmongery products for their projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, and technical support, to ensure timely delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and make recommendations for strategic adjustments.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of ironmongery products such as door handles, door locks, door hinges, door bolts etc.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid UAE driver’s license is a must
