As such, we’re looking for a Quality Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Quality Manager, you will play an important part role in supporting compliance with Nestle Professional Trade Asset Management guidelines linked to Food Safety & Quality as well as, NP Business Development streams in MENA. You will also be supporting factories in specific areas of expertise (e.g.  food safety, HACCP, auditing, hygiene, pest control, chemical contaminants, microbiology food safety.


People and know-how:

  • Promotes Quality and Food Safety awareness across Nestle Professional Business (quality at point of consumption, handling of vending machine, pre-qualification and verification assessment of vendor, complaint handling, training & coaching of beverage solutions operations team, food safety & quality requirements related to Food Business, Supply Chain and Business Development streams of NP)
  • Coaches factories in the field of food safety (HACCP, auditing, hygiene, pest control, chemical contaminants, microbiology food safety)

System design:

  • Perform Global Performance Assessment (GPA) per OPC and Conduct trend analysis on key focus areas for improvement.
  • Train and coach 3rd party service providers and QA Ambassadors of NP MENA Beverage Solutions Operations on GPA methodology, service center NP best practices, food safety and hygiene
  • Collaborates with the Food Business, Supply Chain and Business Development streams of NP MENA on Food safety & Quality activities related to NP MENA SKUs & operations
  • Act as Market Champion for Chemical Contaminant Surveillance plan to support the factories on contaminant management
  • Coordinates human pandemic task force for NME Market

Continuous improvement:

  • Engage NP-MENA and the 3rd party service providers on food safety and quality activities/topics to support in the awareness and sustainability
  • Implementation of HACCP system in NP Beverage Machine dispensers
  • Ensure cross fertilization of best practices in NP Beverage Solutions Operations (GSTD, Learning by Sharing, Quality Near Misses, NGMP-VS)
  • Monitors product performance through consumer/customer complaints and drive multi-disciplinary defect reduction projects where necessary
  • Ensure proper implementation of root cause analysis of defects

Quality auditing and verification:

  • Conduct pre-qualification and verification assessments for NP vendors
  • Supports MENA-QM on FSMS audit in factories
  • Audit the FSMS of the canteen service provider in NME HO and UAE operations, & engage key contacts in both units with regard requirement related to GI 31.717 Safe Food for Personnel in Nestlé Establishment

What will make you successful

  • University graduate or equivalent (preferred food science related)
  • Demonstrated competence in their specific field to support business requirements:
    • Team member in a factory: Quality, Production Support, Application
    • Team member in the quality department of the Market, PTC/R&D, Centre, NRC, NQACs
  • Experience in successfully implementing quality assurance programs:
    •  Participating in project teams
    • Leading part of a change effort
    •  Participating in audit teams and/or improvement projects with more senior staff members
