Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages the day-to-day sales activities to achieve sales targets through profitable business relationships.
  • Identifies, qualifies, and solicits proactively new business and manages other active accounts to achieve individual revenue goals in line with the business’s budgetary objectives.
  • Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
  • Prepares accurate proposals, contracts, quotations and other documents related to sales activities.
  • Provides ongoing support to clients by communicating and conducting visits to ensure relationships are maintained.
  • Communicates accurately with supporting departments to ensure effective execution of client requirements.
  • Source new sales opportunities by meeting with procurement and senior management decision-makers
  • Develop and implement a clearly defined sales plan for new and existing accounts and proactively track the performance of your accounts to identify key drivers of the performance and implement corrective actions to deliver against sales targets.
  • Competitor Analysis to convert accounts
  • Liaise with the Finance team to ensure timely collection of overdue payments from the accounts.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years’ sales/business development experience in the FMCG Industry, managing Area Accounts/Traditional Trade Stores
  • Proven record in driving new business revenue and delivering annual sales growth through new business and client relationship management within the UAE.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate with corporate senior-level decision-makers.
  • A UAE driving license is mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Use clear verbal & written communication in all aspects of work.
  • Proven ability to build relationships both internally and externally and work cross-functionally involving supporting departments.
  • High standards of professional conduct with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desired Candidature:

To be successful on this role, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any related courses.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in UAE managing Area Accounts/Traditional Trade
  • Driving license Holder.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
