Key Accountabilities:

  • Handle the day-to-day cash transaction.
  • Handling parent queries and email communication.
  • Follow up with parents on the outstanding.
  • Preparation of Pro Forma / Invoices on a termly basis.
  • To issue receipts to parents for counter payments, bank / online payments in a time bound manner; and to accurately report this information on the school ERP system.
  • Prepare banking deposits for the day’s end and keep track on Post Dated Cheques.
  • Maintain files for the Daily collection bifurcated to Tuition Fee, Trips, Other Income etc.
  • Keep records of fee concessions and all related records.
  • Assist the Senior Accountant in day-to-day accounting procedures.
  • Ensure the Dwight School policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are always followed.
  • Initiate effort and energy beyond the typical workday, where the tasks require additional commitment.
  • Attend staff meetings and perform other duties as requested by the Senior Accountant and Head of Finance.

Successful Applicant should possess criteria such as:

  • Have appropriate financial qualifications.
  • Experience of at least 1 year in a cashier / finance role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • A positive, flexible, ‘can do’ work ethic.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Calm and approachable manner
  • Empathetic to the needs of all customers
  • Excellent standards of personal presentation.
  • Enjoyment of working in a positive, collaborative team environment with the values of honesty, integrity, and mutual support at the core.
  • Inter-culturally aware with well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, Customer Relation, or similar role.
  • Professional attitude and appearance
