Job Description

Core Job Functions:

  • Coordinate delivery and pickup of materials to and from site.
  • To receive and return materials to and from suppliers and other stores, including arrangement of transportation and required equipment.
  • Orderly arrangement of materials in stores and on site if required so that all materials can be located quickly and easily, ensuring QAQC guidelines followed.
  • Careful storage of all materials including CRM/H&S requirements.
  • Arrange required inspections of delivered materials including QAQC, engineers, PMs or QS’s.
  • Distribute materials and tools and if required to collect the back using correct documentation or system.
  • Order materials or tools when they are to the minimum or required.
  • Inventory control including update of records on stores software on daily basis.
  • To assist with periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock
  • To report any damages and rectify potential hazards.
  • To mark products using identification codes, figures or letters.


  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent communication skills in both the English and Arabic language
  • Stores or contracting experience, preferably in the Gulf
  • Knowledge of construction supplies
