About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Reservation Team Leader to join the Front Office Department in Zabeel House by Jumeirah™, The Greens. The main purpose of the role is to prepare a consistent, high quality food product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the outlet’s operating concept and Company’s standards.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:      

  • Supervise and ensure the smooth and efficient daily reservation operations, ensuring everyone contacting the Central Reservations office receives the optimum level of services and care at all times.
  • Review and update the room’s availability calendar and rates information over the PMS to ensure that it is updated and accurate all times and rooms are sold at the best rate, thus maximising the property revenue.
  • Liaise with the Front Office Manager for reservation requests received from VIP guests, embassies, consular or diplomatic delegations etc., in order to enable the adjustment of services according to requirements and provide ultimate quest experience.
  • Carry out regular spot checks to ensure that the reservation and telecom team adhere to the standards outlined in the property SOPs while reviews all SOPs in order to ensure that is up-to-date with the latest processes and procedure of the Group. 
  • Monitor and inspect the incoming calls to guarantee that all calls are answered promptly and converted according to company telephone standards.
  • Monitor the incoming letters, and email received by the Central Reservation Office to ensure that all reservation requests received are replied within 24 hrs of receipt.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so that company provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
  • Ensuring group bookings are done based on the blocking and correct rooming list shared on timely manner.
  • Ensuring the arrivals check are done on daily basis
  • Monitor and inspect the overflow incoming calls to guarantee that all calls are answered promptly and converted according to company telephone standards.

About You:

 The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Experience in Reservation Systems Opera. 
  • Must have at least 2 years of hotel operation experience.
  • Understanding and management of group sales process and group sales demands.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective plans to maximize market rooms revenue.
  • Very good command of speaking, reading, and writing English language. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong product knowledge of the property.
  • Computer literacy and very good MS Office skills.
